At IAA TRANSPORTATION from September 15 to 20, 2026, in Hannover, we focus again on the experience, experimentation, and interaction with the latest innovations as part of the IAA Experience.
As an exhibitor, take advantage of the opportunity to not only present your latest products, solutions, and use cases in the fields of transportation, logistics, commercial vehicles, and buses, but also to let visitors test them out for themselves on site. We are building on the success of the IAA Experience formats of previous years. For example, three-quarters of visitors gave the IAA Test Drives 2024 top marks in a survey.

IAA Experience Formats
In 2026, IAA Experience will take place as part of IAA TRANSPORTATION from September 15 to 20, 2026 and will consist of the following formats:

The IAA Experience not only showcases the latest trends in commercial vehicles, logistics, and transportation, but also allows visitors to experience the latest vehicle innovations in action, creating lasting memories.
With the IAA Test Drives, we offer exhibitors the opportunity to provide accompanied Test Drives with interested customers in the latest zero-emission light and heavy commercial vehicles of all vehicle classes, as well as buses, on the exhibition grounds or on public roads – regardless of whether it is a prototype or a production model.
There are two different route options available for this purpose:
1. An approx. 2 km long, secured test track in the east of the exhibition grounds. Prototype vehicles can also participate here. (Proof of insurance coverage is required.)
2. Public roads for test drives of serie-production vehicles with road approval. These vehicles can leave the exhibition grounds via Gate South 1 West. As an exhibitor, you can decide for yourself on the length and duration of each drive.

The latest generations of vehicles feature a wide variety of software and hardware that both support the driver and provide fleet managers with important information about the vehicle. The IAA Experience also brings these innovations to life for visitors.
Showcase your ADAS and telematics systems in action. Register interested passengers at your exhibition booth and take them on an accompanied ride along the shuttle bus route on the exhibition grounds or on public roads. Exclusive departure points in the vicinity of your exhibition hall serve as the starting point.
Visitors participate in the ride as passengers and are shown the desired products and functions by trained staff during the ride.
The ADAS & Telematics demonstrations are limited to a maximum of 6 participating exhibitors. Therefore, please register as soon as possible to secure your place.
We expect to provide further information on the ADAS & Telematics demonstrations in January 2026.

In addition to trucks, vans, buses, and trailers, cargobikes will once again take center stage at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026. The Cargobike Parcours, which proved very popular with visitors in 2024, will once again be a hotspot for cargobike enthusiasts.
Present your latest cargobikes on the IAA Cargobike Parcours and give IAA visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with your models and those of other manufacturers and test them extensively. The winding course allows transport pedelecs to be put through their paces. Different situations and obstacles allow for riding under real-life conditions with curb simulations, inclines and declines, gravel paths, flat and uneven surfaces, acceleration tracks, and speed bumps.
In addition, your experts can provide IAA visitors with valuable tips before they set off.
We expect to provide further information about the IAA Cargobike Parcours in January 2026.

The IAA Shuttle Bus connects the individual exhibition halls throughout the entire duration of IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 in a circular route and can be used free of charge by exhibitors and visitors.
Deploy your latest vehicles on this route and enhance the experience factor as well as the visibility of your vehicles and brand. The circuit has 11 stops, connecting all the halls used by IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026 as well as the outdoor area.
We expect to provide further information about the IAA shuttle bus in January 2026.
