The IAA TRANSPORTATION will take place from September 17 to September 22, 2024 at the exhibition grounds of the city of Hannover. On the Press Day (September 16, 2024), the exhibition grounds will be accessible to accredited press representatives.
All exhibitors are required to keep their stand staffed during opening hours on press day. The exhibition grounds are accessible to exhibitors on this day from 07:00 am to 07:00 pm.

The event is open to visitors from 09:00 am to 06:00 pm each day during the event.
Dismantling:
The set-up period starts on Thursday, September 5, 2024 (00:00 am) and ends on Sunday, September 15, 2024 (06:00 pm).
Abbau:
The regular dismantling period starts on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 06:00 pm and ends on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 00:00 am.

On press day (September 16, 2024), the show venue will be open to accredited members of the press from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm. All exhibitors are obliged to keep their stand staffed during opening hours on press day.
The exhibition grounds are accessible to exhibitors on this day from 07:00 am to 07:00 pm. For further information, please refer to point 1.5 of the Organizational & Technical Guidelines.
Guest tickets for one-time admission, as well as permanent guest tickets to be given to third parties, can be ordered soon in the Exhibitor Shop. Only used guest tickets will be invoiced at the respective daily price (working day or weekend) after the event.
It is possible to use individualized guest tickets with your own logo imprinted on them (see also section 2.8 Advertising options).

A limited number of free exhibitor passes are available to the exhibitor and his staff employed during the exhibition. They are valid for
every day of the IAA (September 17-22, 2024) from 07:00 am to 07:00 pm.
The number of free exhibitor passes is calculated as follows:
- Stand area up to 20 m2 = 4 exhibitor passes
- for each additional 10 m² or part = 1 exhibitor pass
- Upper floor areas in a two-storey exhibition stand are included in the calculation with a factor of 0.5.
- Stand areas in the outdoor area are included in the calculation with a factor of 0.5.
- If several stands are booked, the stand area relevant for the calculation of the passes will be the sum of the individual areas.
- If an exhibitor occupies a complete hall or the majority of a hall, the stand area is calculated from the gross area multiplied by 0.7 (including hall aisles).
Co-exhibitors are not entitled to free exhibitor passes.
IMPORTANT:
After full payment of the stand rental invoice, exhibitor passes will be available as eTickets in the Exhibitor Shop from the end of May 2024.
In addition, further exhibitor passes can be ordered in the Exhibitor Shop at a price of 69 € each incl. VAT. Unused passes will not be invoiced.

The exhibitors will receive the exact details on the placement and dimensions of the stand areas with the stand confirmation. This is expected to be sent by e-mail from April 2024.

All stand areas ≥ 100 m² in the exhibition halls, two-story stands, all structures in the outdoor area, special constructions, as well as exhibits over 6.50 m high are subject to approval and special conditions. For these stands, a stand design must be submitted to the VDA for review and approval.
For rental system stands of Deutsche Messe or IAA stand construction packages, no stand construction permit is required. However, the stand construction guidelines must be observed.
Exhibitors with a stand size <100sqm are not obliged to submit the documents for review. However it is recommend, as the plan approval provides more certainty and possible changes and and last minute modifications can be avoided.

The stand rental charges shall apply to the renting of the stand surface area only. The stand construction is not included in the normal booking of the stand space and must be ordered separately by the exhibitor. The minimum equipment consists of booth walls, flooring and adequate lighting.
All information on our design guidelines can be viewed under point 3.3 of the Organizational & Technical Guidelines.
The minimum equipment consists of booth walls, flooring and adequate lighting. Booth walls are obligatory at the closed stand sides and must be at least 2.50 meters high. Protruding or visible parts of back walls must be kept smooth, neutral and clean above a height of 2.50 m. It is recommended to coordinate the heights of the back walls with the neighbors. The appearance of the stand should be as open as possible and give priority to product presentation.

In terms of sustainability, mainly recyclable and/or reusable materials should be used for stand construction. Certified CO2-neutral appearances are desirable.
All materials used for stand construction or decorationhave to comply with DIN 4102-1, respectively according to EN 13501-1 C s2 d0 (flame-retardant) and must not drip on burning.
Exhibits and construction elements must not exceed the stand boundaries. This also applies to lights.
Stands building should take care of accessibility. Fixtures and furnishings should be arranged for easy access and use by disabled persons.

The maximum construction height for stand construction and advertising in the halls is 6.50 m within the entire stand area and also applies to suspended objects.

Special regulations apply to the outdoor exhibition area, which can be viewed under item 3.5 of the Organizational & Technical Guidelines.
A manufacturer's confirmation is required as an exhibitor if you wish to exhibit exhibits or products from other companies at your IAA stand. You can find the relevant form here.
In order to hold an evening event on your company's own stand area, an order must be placed with Deutsche Messe via the Exhibitor Shop.
The documents for the entry will be emailed directly by the contracted service provider to the main contact person specified in the stand registration, probably from the beginning of May 2024.

The climate protection contribution serves to balance the CO2 footprint of your IAA appearance and the investment in climate protection projects in the amount of the calculated CO2 emissions.
The IAA TRANSPORTATION offers all exhibitors the following options and steps:
Step 1: Balancing & receiving the myclimate impact label
1.1 Accounting of the IAA appearance in tons of CO₂ with subsequent
investment in myclimate carbon offset projects: €179.00*
1.2 Review of an existing CO₂ balance sheet (methodology based on the
GHG protocol ) for the IAA appearance by myclimate with subsequent
investment in climate protection projects from other providers (Gold Standard,
Plan Vivo): € 279.00*
* In addition, there are the costs of your individual carbon footprint, which is calculated per ton.
Step 2: Investment in the amount of the calculated CO₂ emissions in climate protection projects
