Frequently asked questions

The IAA TRANSPORTATION will take place from September 17 to September 22, 2024 at the exhibition grounds of the city of Hannover. On the Press Day (September 16, 2024), the exhibition grounds will be accessible to accredited press representatives.

Further information regarding specific times will be provided shortly.

The exhibition is open to visitors from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm each day.

The IAA Commercial Vehicles has expanded its concept and transformed itself into the leading international platform for logistics, commercial vehicles, buses and the transport sector as the IAA TRANSPORTATION in 2022.  

Under the motto "People and Goods on the move", the new IAA TRANSPORTATION will take place for the second time at the Deutsche Messe AG exhibition grounds in Hanover from September 17 to 22, 2024.  

The IAA TRANSPORTATION is pursuing the major goal of promoting climate neutrality in logistics and transportation with the help of innovative transport systems. Commercial vehicle and bus manufacturers, body and trailer manufacturers, micromobility companies, cargo bike and small vehicle providers, as well as their suppliers and tech companies, service providers and start-ups come together in Hanover for IAA TRANSPORTATION to present and network their innovative solutions.

The IAA TRANSPORTATION will take place from September 17 to 22, 2024 at the Deutsche Messe AG exhibition grounds in Hanover.

The press day will take place on September 16, 2024.

Tickets can now be purchased in the ticket shop under the link tickets.iaa-transportation.com

Starting from the ticket shop homepage, please click on the "Redeem voucher / Register your ticket" tile. A free field will appear in which you can enter the code and personalize your ticket. You will then receive your valid ticket.

The following tickets can be purchased digitally in the ticket shop at iaa-transportation.com and at the box offices on site:

• A one-day ticket on a business day costs 28.00 €.
• An afternoon ticket from 1:00 pm costs 13.00 €.
• A reduced one-day ticket* costs 9.00 €.
• A one-day ticket at the weekend costs 10.00 €.
• A permanent ticket from September 17 to 22 costs 74.00 €.
• The exclusive ticket on the press day on September 16 from 1:00 pm costs € 69.00.

* The reduced day ticket is valid for pupils, students, apprentices, voluntary military service (Freiwilliger Wehrdienst), the federal voluntary service (Bundesfreiwilligendienst), the voluntary services “FÖJ” and “FSJ” and for people with disabilities upon presentation of appropriate proof. If the severely handicapped ID card of a person with a disability contains the mark “B”, the accompanying person receives free entry.

The following tickets can only be purchased at the on-site box offices:

• A one-day ticket for school groups costs per person 5.00 €.
• A Family adventure pass at the weekend for max. 2 adults and 3 children costs 20.00 €.
• A Driver Ticket TRUCK & BUS** costs 8.00 €.

** For truck and bus drivers upon presentation of corresponding proof (driver card and valid photo ID)

Children up to and including five years old receive free entry.

The purchase of a ticket on a business day also allows the holder to visit the IAA Conference and many other experiences at the IAA TRANSPORTATION.

According to the Rules and Regulations, animals of all kinds are prohibited on the premises. Exceptions may be made for assistance dogs or guide dogs, as long as they are in a basket and proper documentation can be provided.
