The new IAA Cargobike Parcours features a modern design and includes six high-quality elements that mimic real street conditions to allow for diverse testing:
- Crossing rough cobblestone
- Crossing speed bumps
- Straight curb ascent/descent
- Crossing loose gravel/sand
- Side curb ascent/descent
- Inclines and declines
Various curves and an acceleration track complete the diverse offerings, providing a unique test experience that will leave a lasting impression on visitors.

Inquire About a Test Drive at the Exhibitor's Booth:
Ask at the booth of the desired exhibitor about a test drive and register for a ride there.

Visit Check-In & Start Your Test Drive:
After a brief vehicle introduction, proceed to the Check-In container at the entrance of the course. There, you'll sign the participation terms and receive a wristband. You can then begin your test drive on the course.

International Cargobike of the Year Award 2024

Testing and Award Ceremony at IAA TRANSPORTATION
Launched by HUSS-VERLAG in 2019, the “International Cargobike of the Year Award” will once again be presented at IAA TRANSPORTATION in Hannover in 2024. This award recognizes the efforts of cargo bike manufacturers in developing innovative and practical bicycle concepts for professional use and highlights trends and developments in this rapidly growing segment. A panel of experts will test all participating cargo bikes on the course, divided into three categories: Light Cargobikes (<100 kg payload), Heavy Cargobikes (>100 kg payload), and Bike-Trailers (trailers). The winners will be announced in the evening during a formal award ceremony on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 4:30 PM at the Cargo Bike Course.
