Under the motto "People And Goods On The Move," IAA TRANSPORTATION aims to advance climate neutrality in logistics and transportation with the help of innovative transport systems. Commercial vehicle and bus manufacturers, body and trailer manufacturers, micro-mobility companies, cargo bike and small vehicle providers, as well as their suppliers and tech companies, service providers, and startups come together in Hannover for IAA TRANSPORTATION to present and network their innovative solutions.
IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 consists of four event elements
IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 consists of four event elements. At IAA Exhibition, international exhibitors present their innovations to an international audience and can use pre-fabricated booth packages (including for startups) and other presentation formats alongside their own booth structures. In the format IAA Exchange, international speakers share their ideas through formats like keynotes, panel talks, or fireside chats, inviting direct on-site and digital exchange. IAA Experience actively involves trade visitors in the action, allowing them to try out the latest industry trends and concept ideas live at IAA TRANSPORTATION. With IAA Excite, exhibitors have the opportunity to inspire trade visitors with their own use cases in the transportation sector.
Exhibitors can calculate their carbon footprin
In collaboration with IAA TRANSPORTATION partner myclimate, exhibitors have various options to calculate their own carbon footprint at IAA TRANSPORTATION and invest the calculated CO2 emissions in climate protection projects. Specific projects involve financing electric motorcycles in Togo, establishing biogas plants in India, and maintaining plants and trees on agricultural land in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein.

In 2022, the trade fair presented numerous groundbreaking technologies and solutions that will shape the future of the transport industry. 87% of the 1,402 exhibitors from 42 countries were very satisfied with their participation and took advantage of the unique opportunity to network and exchange experiences. Around 133,000 visitors from 72 countries were present in the exhibition halls in September 2022.
